As of the latest available data, the NBA comprises 800 male beekeepers and 200 female beekeepers, collectively managing approximately 50,000 bee hives. Annually, these dedicated beekeepers produce an impressive1000 tons of honey. Beekeeping is one of the traditional and profitable agri-businesses and there are many people are involved in this business which generates sufficient income to feed their families. People involved in this business have many challenges including technical deficiency, and lack of markets.
